James Storehouse Louisiana was selected as a mission grant recipient during the 2018 LWML LA-MS District convention, and the check presentation was held on October 6. The ladies of the Southern Zone were thrilled to present the check to Kim Bigler, JSL Founder, during their fall zone rally. James Storehouse Louisiana serves children in foster care, from “cribs to college.”
Funds from this $2,000 mission grant will be used to purchase beds for children in foster care. Beds are crucial in ensuring that certified foster families can accept children, and that foster siblings – who have been through enough trauma already – can stay together.
